From Lucerne train station, take a bus ride to Kreins, Zentrum Pilatus around 8 am.  The ride should last about 15 minutes to get to Kreins. From Kreins, a short walk for 10 minutes would lead to Mount Pilatus cable car station.  You would travel in a cable car for about 30 minutes to go to Mount Pilatus. Mount Pilatus overlooks Lucerne at about 6,982 ft above sea level. The highest peak is named Tomlishorn and is located a little less than one-and-a-half kilometers from the cable car station located at the entrance of Mount Pilatus.  In terms of weather, Pilatus is likely be the exact opposite of Titlis, especially in summer, in that it is likely to be warm and humid. So, it is a great hiking spot if you want to enjoy some scenery and get some physical exercise. The hiking could vary between 2 and 4 hours depending on your chosen hiking path.  As you wrap up hiking, you can reach Lucerne back by around 3 pm.

If you are following the 7-day itinerary of things to do in Switzerland, head back to your hotel, grab your luggage and get back to Lucerne train station to board the train to Geneva around 4 pm.  A ride by high speed train should be around 3 hours, so you should be able to reach Geneva around 7 pm. Grab some dinner and go to your hotel to get some rest and get ready for a day of roaming around in Geneva.
